Noolingo uses cloud services to store and backup your data. In addition to syncing data across multiple devices, cloud storage enables more features, such as sharing content. We call this Noolingo Cloud.
Noolingo adopts a local-first (Local-First) software architecture design. This means all data is stored on local devices first, and you can use all features completely even without network connectivity.
Incremental Sync
All changes are synced to the cloud incrementally. The system uses a "last-write-wins" principle to automatically resolve conflicts, meaning if you modify the same note on multiple devices, the last saved version will be preserved.

Time Sync Recommendation
When using the app, your device's time affects cloud sync conflict resolution. Therefore, we recommend using devices with network time sync or enabling automatic time sync on your device to ensure more accurate conflict resolution.
To facilitate image editing, Noolingo's editor has built-in image hosting functionality. Images you upload will generate links through image hosting, so you can view these images on any device.
Use Cases
When you upload images and edit notes on one device, these images are automatically uploaded to the cloud. When you open the same note on another device, images load automatically without manual syncing.
Image hosting makes image management simple. You don't need to worry about image file locations or manually copy images to different devices.
Local Storage
Noolingo's local note storage has no limits. You can create unlimited local notes. This means you can confidently record all content locally without worrying about storage space issues.
Cloud Sync Capacity
For cloud syncing, different users have different capacity limits:
Free users can sync 200 notes to the cloud for multi-device access. Subscribed users have cloud capacity increased to 50,000 notes.
About Capacity Limits
50,000 notes is not a hard limit. We will appropriately increase it based on operational conditions and special user needs. However, we will never advertise "unlimited" cloud services, because we believe honesty and transparency are more important than false promises.
